I’m sure we all wish we could rock every single designer piece that was “trendy” at the current moment, but let’s be honest–sometimes that price is just too high. Why spend so much money on certain things you know you’ll only wear for a couple seasons? Today I’m going to share with you my favorite “designer dupes” that I’ve found within the past few weeks! And let’s be clear–these are not knockoff products. These are products that were simply inspired by the higher price look-alike.
1. Valentino vs. Lulus.com
I have always wanted a pair of the Valentino Rockstud shoes, but I simply just can’t afford them. Needless to say, I was ecstatic when I found this nearly identical pair from Lulus.com. Literally I can barely find a difference–and they’re so comfortable, too!
2. Sheila Fajl vs. Red Dress Boutique
These thick gold hoops by Sheila Fajl have been super popular lately, but from past experience, hoops seem to go in and out of style very quickly! So finding some similar ones for less than half the price is definitely a must!
3. Gucci vs. White Fox Boutique
This Gucci Logo tee is so simple and chic, but seriously, almost $600 for a t-shirt? No, thank you. The White Fox tee says “Merci,” which is different, but in my opinion it’s just as cute and you’re not breaking the bank for it, either!
4. Marc Fisher vs. Treasure & Bond
Literally everyone has been wearing these Marc Fisher wedges and I don’t blame them–they’re adorable! This Treasure & Bond pair is so similar and so much cheaper, so why not get those instead?
5. Gucci vs. Express
We all know the Gucci belt is truly iconic; I even have one myself, but there are so many great alternatives out there! The “double-O” detail on this Express belt gives you the same look as the interlocking “G’s” from the Gucci one–and seriously, you cannot beat that price.
6. Chloé vs. Goodnight Macaroon
The Chloé ‘Faye’ bag has been all over Instagram lately and I honestly just can’t get enough of it. It is such a gorgeous bag, but so expensive!! I came across this look-alike for a fraction of the price and I could not have been more excited! Goodnight Macaroon has some other trendy pieces available, too!
7. One Teaspoon vs. Forever 21
Denim skirts are so cute and stylish, but very simple at the same time. To me, it’s not something worth spending a bunch of money on. You can find so many other great options, like this Forever 21 skirt that’s under $20!
8. Lana Jewelry vs. Baublebar
I honestly don’t think I’ll ever get sick of these gorgeous gold layered necklaces, but that doesn’t mean I want to drop a ton of money on one. Don’t get me wrong, if you’re into only buying real jewelry, go for it, but if you want a cheaper option, check out this one from Baublebar!
9. Clare V vs. Lulus
These woven bags we’ve been seeing everywhere are perfect for the spring and summer months, but that is about it. Save your money and go for a cheaper one from Lulus or Etsy.
10. Golden Goose vs. Steve Madden
A lot of people have been really into these scruffy looking Golden Goose sneakers lately and the star on them solidifies their trendiness. Although the Steve Madden ones aren’t exactly the same, I think they’re an excellent option if you’re trying to save some money while still being fashionable!
